Cai Elias-Schofield

My name is Cai Elias-Schofield. I spent 4 years studying Osteopathy at the European School of Osteopathy graduating with an Integrated Masters of Osteopathy(Hons). I am passionate about what I do and love every moment of being an Osteopath.

I am always motivated to further develop my skills. I acquired a Diploma in Sports Injury and Massage in 2009 and a Diploma in Myofascial Acupuncture in 2011. Between 2015 and 2016, I completed a post-graduate diploma in Applied Kinesiology adding to my ever-expanding skill set.

I also have a keen interest in working with animals. Recently I have been gaining experience treating dogs and horses. Over the next two years I will be attending a diploma course on equine and canine Osteopathy.

While working in Scotland at both the Althos clinic and Back2life clinic for 5 years, I gained experience treating many different people, from babies to athletes! From here, I decided to move to England to further my education of Osteopathy. I am delighted to be working with the team at CORE.

I am is a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist in the North West of England, based in Crosby, Liverpool. I studied for 4 years for my Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from CNM in Manchester (College of Naturopathic Nutrition), as part of my training we had to build up 200+ hours of clinic experience with clients.

I am a UK registered practitioner, and have met the strict criteria required for accreditation through BANT, the British Association for Applied Nutrition, and the ANP Association of Naturopathic Practitioners . They both require members to have training at an accredited institution as well undertake continuing professional development to maintain the highest standards.

Food, lifestyle, stress, emotions and movement all influence our health.
I offer an in-depth consultation and will work with you to create a Personalised Diet & Lifestyle Prescription Plan aimed at improving your symptoms, based on your individual life and medical history. We offer testing to help determine underlying health issues and recommend nutritional supplements which are specifically designed for nutritional medicine related problems.

“I absolutely love my job! I enjoy hearing about a client’s history and experiences and piecing them together like a jigsaw to get to the root cause. Everyone is individual. Here at CORE we believe in addressing symptoms rather than suppressing them!”

My name is Rachael, I spent 4 years studying to gain my diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and I am an individual member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). As part of my training, I built up over 100 counselling hours with clients. As well as my private practice, I also volunteer as a counsellor at a local women’s centre. I am very passionate about what I do and I feel privileged to be a part of my client’s lives in this way, witnessing times of darkness and light!

My background is in supporting men, women and young people experiencing depression, anxiety, stress and long term illness to improve their health & wellbeing and to feel good about themselves, the people and places around them. In my counselling practice, I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues such as loss, trauma, relationship issues and life transitions, to name a few. I understand that difficult experiences can often lead to feeling disconnected from those around us and can effect our confidence and self-esteem, which can often then lead to depression, anxiety, stress and problems with our health.

I work from a person-centred framework, which means that I believe you are the expert on your life and will collaborate with you on how to make the hard stuff easier to sit with. I offer support and encouragement in a genuine, empathic and non-judgemental way so that you can become more resilient and better able to handle life’s challenges. The process of Counselling can lead to new perspectives and self-awareness that can be both exciting and scary so it’s important that you feel listened to, respected and understood. My clients have often said that counselling helped them to untangle their thoughts and feelings so that they were able to live healthier and happier lives.

I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, which is why I am delighted to be a part of the team at CORE. To arrange a FREE telephone consultation, you can contact me on 07852 626 007 or email counsellingwithrachael@outlook.com
